Designer Range Installation Guide

Installing your Designer Range tank is simple and DIY-friendly. Follow the steps below to ensure proper setup and optimal performance.

1. Prepare the Base

  • Place your tank on a flat, level surface.

  • We recommend using a concrete paver or similar stable base to prevent movement or tilting once full.

2. Use the Included Drill Bit

  • Your downpipe diverter kit comes with a drill bit for creating connection holes.

  • Use it to drill:

    • One hole in the downpipe

    • One hole in the side of the tank

3. Align the Holes

  • Ensure the hole in the tank and the hole in the downpipe are level with each other.

  • This is essential for the overflow function to work correctly.

  • Avoid angling the hose — it should run straight between the diverter and tank.

4. Fit the Diverter

  • Cut the supplied hose to the required length, keeping it straight and untwisted.

  • Use the faceplate that best fits your downpipe shape (round or rectangular). The second faceplate is extra and not needed if it doesn’t match.
